Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment in Florence, KY is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items with precision, follow recipes, and maintain high safety standards.

You will work with a team to deliver fresh, correctly prepared dishes, manage portions, and ensure timely service while upholding sanitation and cleanliness at all times.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Line Cook or Prep Cook experience
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification as required
• Compliance with uniform standards
• Commitment to memorable guest experiences
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff and Guests
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards
• Prepping and cooking all menu items per recipes
• Minimize food waste by proper portions and accurate tickets
• Coordinate with service to ensure food is delivered fresh and timely
• Follow health department procedures and safety rules
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep station clean and stocked before, during, and after shifts
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Line Cooks prepare unforgettably delicious food that keeps our Guests coming back for more! As a Line Cook, you are passionate about our ingredients, food quality standards and delivering a consistent Guest experience! You are an expert on our prep and spec recipes, operational standards, equipment and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience
• 18 + years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
