Qualifications

  • Radar certificate and FCC License.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate vessel and ensure safe operation to prevent injuries or damages.
  • Ensure safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings.
  • Complete navigation and maintenance logs and forms (e.g., navigation logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms).
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate rescue or transit of persons as needed.
  • Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and provisioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Our organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for their open roles. This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The role is on-site at the location detailed in the job post. This is a full-time, exempt-level position.


Job Responsibilities


  • Navigates vessel and ensures safe operation of vessel as to not cause injury or damages.

  • Responsible for safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings.

  • Familiarity with Sub Chapter M regulations and vessel/crew requirements.

  • Complete electronic and paper forms and logs such as: navigation logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms.

  • Responds to any situation that would require emergency rescue or transit of persons.

  • Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and grocery delivery.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
