Job summary

Adventure Tours, Accokeek, MD, is seeking a Line Run Manager to oversee the daily line-run operation from first departure to last arrival. The role is full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining on-time performance, managing driver coverage, coordinating with the partner operations team, and ensuring fleet readiness and compliance with FMCSA rules. Salary is $65,000–$80,000/year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in motorcoach, intercity bus, transit or transportation operations with supervising drivers or dispatchers
• Strong working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules, especially hours of service for passenger carriers
• Proven track record of improving on-time performance, service quality or safety
• Excellent client relationship management and clear communication skills
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking, Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Own on-time performance from first departure to last arrival and track punctuality
• Build and manage line run driver schedules with backups for call-outs
• Be the daily contact for partner operations; report delays, cancellations and incidents promptly
• Lead driver onboarding to partner procedures and coach performance
• Ensure fleet readiness with maintenance and proper branding
