Job summary

Rusco MFG Inc is hiring a detail-oriented QC Line Inspector in Machesney Park, IL. The role focuses on monitoring production processes, inspecting products for quality, and ensuring compliance with specifications. The position is full-time with a 1st shift and hourly pay between $22 and $24.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, document results, and communicate quality concerns to the team. The job requires basic math, reading work instructions, and the use of calipers and gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and basic technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to use calipers, gauges and measuring tools.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout production.
• Verify products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects and quality issues.
• Complete inspection reports and checklists accurately.
• Use basic inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and QA personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
