Job summary

H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Champaign, IL to join a split-location team working Champaign, IL and Fisher, IL. The role ensures products meet customer standards through detailed inspection and documentation.

The position offers a full-time schedule (10am–8pm, M–Th with Friday overtime) and a pay range of $26–$29 per hour based on experience. Applicants must be U.S. Persons per ITAR and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance position.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Welder/Fabricator experience and welding certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections of products and components at different production stages (Machining, Forming, Welding, Assembly).
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure conformance with customer requirements and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings including GD&T to verify dimensions.
• Operate CMM, Romer, and Optical Comparator for measurements.
• Document non-conforming parts and report to QA Manager or Supervisors.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Coordinate with scheduling and planning to expedite parts.
• Support ISO 9001 concepts and PPAP documentation.
