NewsMax Broadcasting LLC seeks a dynamic News Producer to generate story ideas through the research of social media, wires, and contacts. You will identify impactful stories that drive provocative television and delegate duties to AP, editors, and video editors to meet tight deadlines.

You will produce timely content under pressure, stay current on local events and politics, and actively participate in editorial meetings.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field, preferred
• Strong writing and organizational skills required as is the ability to produce content under heavy deadline pressure.
• 3 years’ experience line producing a newscast
• Attention to detail is must.
• Ability to collect and analyze data and information accuracy as well as follow through.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive and solutions focused.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, overnights, and weekend
• Competitive salary - $90k to $110k dependent on skills and relevant experience
