Job summary

Newsmax Media Inc. in New York seeks a seasoned producer to generate story ideas through research of social media, wires, and contacts.

You will identify news stories for compelling television, delegate tasks, and produce content under tight deadlines while staying current on local events and politics. You will collaborate with editors and on-air staff to ensure accuracy, engaging content, and timely delivery under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field, preferred.
• Strong writing and organizational skills required as is the ability to produce content under heavy deadline pressure.
• 3 years’ experience line producing a newscast
• Attention to detail is must.
• Ability to collect and analyze data and information accuracy as well as follow through.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive and solutions focused.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, overnights, and weekend
