Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a packaging and materials operator in Prattville, Alabama to load, unload, and blend products safely and efficiently. You will help control quality and storage of liquids and coordinate bulk materials and packaging under supervision.

Responsibilities include supervising temporary workers during large-scale rework, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards including 6S while collaborating with supervisors and teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid forklift operator certification required.
• Experience leading and managing others preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packaging components and dispositions of damaged/non-conforming items.
• Lead and supervise temporary workers during large-scale rework of finished goods.
• Monitor inventory and disposition of damaged or non-saleable items.
• Transport product to packaging quarantine area for disposal.
• Operate forklift or assist forklift drivers as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with supervisors.
