Job summary

Versant Power in Lamoine, ME, seeks a Supervisor, Line to lead the Hancock District’s line and meter operations, ensuring safety, reliability and strong customer service. You will plan work, supervise crews, and drive development while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and effective communication; residence within 25 miles of the headquarters is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electric power or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of T&D Operations experience.
• Strong understanding of the electrical system, NEC codes and company distribution standards.
• Experience preparing and managing capital and O/M budgets.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, with ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Provide and demonstrate leadership in the Line and Meter Operations management team.
• Identify opportunities for safety, operations, and employee engagement improvements.
• Assign daily work to line and meter crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety, HR, and company rules; administer corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors for cross-functional work.
• Oversee storm restoration activities and documentation.
