American Electric Power in Texas is seeking a Line Mechanic C to perform installation, maintenance, and inspection of transmission and distribution facilities, including overhead and underground lines. The role builds on Lineman D skills and requires readiness to work near energized equipment.

Candidates must have at least one year of distribution line experience, a valid Class A CDL, and reside within 30 minutes of the Childress Operation Center.

Formación

• Minimum of one year distribution electrical power line work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Residency within 30 minutes of Childress Operation Center.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, install, maintain, remove and inspect overhead and underground facilities.
• Inspect conductors, cables, transformers, and associated equipment.
• Direct the work of employees assigned to assist; complete Monthly Apprentice Cards.
