Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, removal and inspection of electrical facilities for overhead and underground systems.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handling poles, towers, and structures.
• Assemble line material and hardware under supervision; splice overhead wires with proper tools.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and work area for safety and cleanliness.
• Perform ground person duties and basic rescue procedures as training progresses.
• Maintain records and reports as required; read meters and complete apprentice cards.
