Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• No experience required; line work experience or line school education is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and obtain CDL beginners permit within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and inspection of overhead and underground lines under supervision.
• Operate line trucks and associated equipment as skill level allows.
• Progress to operating digger/derrick and aerial devices after training and certification.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; read meters and complete required reports.
