Job summary

PFNonwovens is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, read mechanical and electrical schematics, and perform preventive maintenance. You will monitor hydraulic/pneumatic systems and drive continuous improvement in uptime.

Candidate should have HS diploma, some vocational training or manufacturing experience, and be able to work with CMMS tools and collaborate with engineers and operators in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Required HS diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 2-year vocational training or related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notifies safety hazards and takes corrective action.
• Gains knowledge of plant equipment and performs troubleshooting.
• Maintains hydraulic/pneumatic systems per specs.
• Reads blueprints and electrical prints to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical and operational problems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and lubrication.
• Performs changeovers on equipment.
• Maintains equipment logs and detailed work orders.
• Supports engineers and project teams on priorities.
