Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Follows safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Maintains accurate documentation of work.
  • Physically capable to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on mechanical tasks.
  • Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Experience with PSM, millwrighting, machining, pipefitting, or welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions using appropriate tools.
  • Repair or replace pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, and other components.
  • Install and commission new equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, and support PSM compliance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment reliability.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced teammates.
  • Support development and execution of maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred
  • Brings 2–3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Demonstrates strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understands and adheres to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout
  • Communicates clearly and documents work accurately
  • Has the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb, and perform hands-on mechanical work
  • Works well independently and as part of a team, and is open to overtime or weekend work when needed
  • (Preferred) Has experience with PSM programs, millwrighting, machining, pipefitting, or welding
