Job summary

American Airlines Integrated Operations Center in Fort Worth seeks a leader to manage a team of line maintenance planners, driving base planning, resources, and performance metrics to support on-time operations.

The role partners with Aircraft Routing, identifies improvement opportunities, mentors analysts, and ensures effective communication with internal and external customers; a Bachelor's in business or related field and 5+ years in planning or maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or supply chain.
• 5+ years in planning or maintenance leadership is preferred.
• Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of company policies and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of line maintenance planners to develop and monitor schedules.
• Ensure resources (labor, materials, tooling) are aligned with planned work.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.
• Collaborate with department managers to address business challenges.
• Coach analysts and empower decisions and future leaders.
