Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules, risk assessments and work instructions.
• Performs routine reports and correspondence.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Review production and scrap rates to maximize production.
• Inspect equipment and report irregularities to maintenance.
• Verify accuracy of resins, additives, orders and inventory using the JDE system.
• Prepare shift reports for the department manager.
• Ensure conformance to AIB, SQF and safety policies including training.
• Attend safety meetings and complete provided training.
• Train and prioritize shift personnel for equipment operations.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and supervise staff in supervisor's absence.
• Maintain good housekeeping and assist plant operations during all hours.
