Job summary

Minnesota Diversified Industries in Cohasset, MN, is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our assembly floor. You will ensure staffing levels, materials availability, and equipment readiness to meet production goals and quality standards.

You will develop rotation schedules, provide daily progress reports, manage timekeeping, and mentor team members while applying continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more related experience.
• Previous team-leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write, recognize, understand and accomplish new assignments with only general instructions.
• Ability to operate basic computer equipment and peripherals as well as company standard software.
• Ability to effectively perform all basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages).
• Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership on the assembly floor.
• Ensure staffing for the assigned area with necessary people, equipment, and material.
• Ensure tasks are performed per work instructions to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Provide daily progress reports.
• Ensure timekeeping accuracy (production manufacturing orders, timesheets).
• Develop and implement team rotation schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment, techniques, and processes.
• Foster effective employee relations and maintain safety and confidentiality.
