Job summary

Divergent is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across CNC machining, robotic assembly, and anodizing. You will manage labor, equipment, and materials to hit aggressive build plans with safety and quality at the forefront.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a bias for continuous improvement on the shop floor. You will partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime, implement process improvements,

Qualifications

• Authorized to access information subject to US export controls.
• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced technical/manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable using ERP and MES; experience with production-tracking tools preferred.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
• Willingness to spend time on the production floor to coach frontline staff.
• Good interpersonal skills to interface with all levels and schedule work.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• 3–5 years of technical experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across multiple manufacturing areas including CNC machining and assembly.
• Lead a team of technicians to meet production schedules, quality and safety standards.
• Plan and allocate resources (labor, equipment, materials) to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot process issues with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to implement process improvements.
• Drive accountability through coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate documentation of production activities and downtime logs.
• Participate in capital planning and facilities upgrades (5S).
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per 5S and lean practices.
