Qualifications

• Education generally equivalent to a High School Diploma; with an Associate's Degree preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years of manufacturing, high speed packaging, or food manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with a proven track record across company levels.
• Prefer candidates with attendance, safety and quality of work.
• Requires GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines knowledge.
• Requires ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Good oral and written communication skills for directing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production operations for a line with 4+ people.
• Coordinate training of line personnel to maintain a skilled workforce.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging machines.
• Maintain line efficiencies and meet quality/customer standards.
• Review daily production and implement continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality/production documentation.
• Perform light maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ensure a safe, high-quality food product and report safety/quality issues.
