Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance, repair equipment, and ensure lines run at peak performance to support production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years leading teams, strong electro-mechanical skills, root-cause analysis, and experience in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years' experience, or equivalent.
• Experience leading teams and training staff.
• Ability to lead problem-solving for high-level process issues.
• Food Manufacturing background.
• Strong electro-mechanical skillset.
• Strong root cause analysis background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Good planning and priority setting.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams in predictive and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on work methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise maintenance systems and documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with Production.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (PM/TPM/SOPs/Safety).
• Provide troubleshooting support for equipment failures.
• Develop KPIs for maintenance performance.
• Provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Foster employee development and coaching.
