Job summary

PFX Group's Alsip facility is seeking a Line Lead for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm) to oversee the daily operation of the Auto/Car Care/Prestone production lines. You will lead a team, monitor performance, perform line setup and changeovers, and ensure safe, high-quality manufacturing in accordance with GMP.

You will coordinate workflow, maintain production records, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing/production experience.
• Minimum of 2 years lead experience in production.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train and motivate employees.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Operate, monitor, adjust, start, and stop production line equipment.
• Complete production line changeovers on Line 1 and Line 2.
• Monitor production schedules and output to meet daily goals.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with maintenance.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to maximize productivity.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Communicate shift updates and quality concerns.
