Job summary

Radienz Living in Mount Prospect, IL, is seeking a Shift Lead for the 2nd shift to support daily production operations and coordinate team activities on the floor.

The role requires 2–4 years in manufacturing with lead experience, a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree is a plus), and strong GMP/SOP knowledge. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and capable of working varying schedules including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing/production with prior lead or team coordination preferred.
• Demonstrated GMP understanding and adherence to SOPs.
• Solid understanding of production processes, safety, and quality inspection methods.
• Ability to guide team members while focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality; bilingual English/Spanish.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working across shifts and departments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Supervisor in daily production and operational activities.
• Guide and assist team members by resolving workflow issues and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
• Coordinate daily tasks to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Communicate production status and updates to Shift Supervisor and other departments.
• Verify materials, equipment, and documentation for production runs.
• Assist in training employees on proper work practices, safety, and quality expectations.
• Identify and report safety or equipment concerns promptly to leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Serve as a production-floor resource when leadership is not present.
• Perform related duties to support department and organizational objectives.
