Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Toluca, IL expects a Maintenance Team Lead for the 2nd shift to lead the onsite workforce, plan and schedule repairs, and perform preventive maintenance on facility, equipment, and production lines.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, manage spare parts, and provide technical direction to technicians and contractors while upholding GMP, GSP, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Lead the onsite maintenance workforce for facility and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Adhere to safety policies and GMP/GSP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily activities of the onsite Maintenance workforce on facility and equipment maintenance/repairs.
• Ensure employee accountability by reporting and assisting in incident investigations in accordance with established rules and regulations.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Develop, plan, and schedule preventative/predictive maintenance activities.
• Evaluate the skills and performance of employees, make appropriate recommendations for improvement to the maintenance manager, and assist in employee training.
• Track work orders and produce performance metrics through the CMMS program.
• Troubleshoot and develop solutions for all Facility/Equipment/Building and Production Machine issues.
• Develop and implement TPM across equipment and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Provide technical direction to department technicians and contractors.
• Occasional off hour communication and weekend coverage to meet facility needs.
• Follow GMP, GSP and other Food Safety guidelines.
