Cucina 38, a small neighborhood Italian eatery, seeks an experienced Line Cook to join our team in Massachusetts. Everything is made from scratch with care for the community we serve, and we pride ourselves on Northern Italian flavors and fresh ingredients.

You will work alongside talented culinary professionals, create exceptional dining experiences, and grow your career in a fast-paced, supportive kitchen that emphasizes teamwork, consistency, and pride in presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous Line Cook experience in Italian cuisine.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm during busy service.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and kitchen safety.
• Willing to learn and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Italian dishes per Cucina 38 recipes and standards.
• Maintain quality and presentation during service.
• Work efficiently during high-volume services.
• Complete prep work and ensure stations are stocked.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen tasks.
• Support other stations and team members as needed.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, scheduling, and minimizing waste.
• Help develop seasonal specials and creative menu ideas.
• Help maintain a positive, professional kitchen environment.

• Assist with opening and closing kitchen responsibilities
• Support other stations and kitchen team members as needed
