Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Parties, or Station Chefs. You will prepare food to established recipes, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and support the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required as we provide training. A Food Handler’s Card where applicable is preferred; ability to learn recipes and scales with a strong eye for detail will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; training provided.
• Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or we will help you obtain.
• Love for food with an eye for detail, including weights and measurements.
• Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes.
• Knowledge of chemicals used in the building.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
• Plate prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
• Setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
• May assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
• Uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
