Job summary

Sixty Vines in Orlando, FL is hiring a Line Cook to join our chef-driven kitchen. You will prepare dishes from given recipes, read tickets, and maintain high standards of food quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates can stand long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and hold a current Food Handler's Certification. We offer flexible schedules, insurance after 60 days, PTO after meeting requirements, wine country trips, and opportunities for WSET/Sommelier certification.

Qualifications

• Read and understand tickets.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Lift minimum 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare all food products according to the prescribed methods and recipes.
• Follow and maintain outlined cook times for all prepared items.
• Maintain the highest level of food quality possible.
• Receive and store all products according to local health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a current Food Handler's Certification.
• Follow management's instructions and suggestions.
