Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook for Day shifts in our brunch-focused concept. You will accurately and efficiently prepare hot dishes, portion ingredients before cooking, and assist with plating to ensure consistent quality across all plates.

This role requires at least 1 year of kitchen experience, the ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend availability is essential as we do days and brunch service, with prospects for growth and

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Able to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently.
• Complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members.
• Be able to reach, bend stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
