Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing, expediting, monitoring, replenishing, and transporting food items as indicated by production sheets.
2. Reporting to the Sous Chef at the start of each shift for instructions on specials or menu changes.
3. Arranging mise en place according to posted instructions and menu requirements.
4. Communicating station needs, waste, and discrepancies with the supervisor.
5. Preparing and presenting menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
6. Assisting in other kitchen areas as directed.
7. Interacting professionally with guests and coworkers.
8. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One to two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to respond to guest inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet other credentialing requirements.
• Working events on the casino floor require obtaining a non-gaming credential.

Physical Demands:

• Walking 30%, standing 70%, bending and lifting 10%.
• Climbing heights over 10 feet and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Visual acuity including color and peripheral vision.

Work Environment:

• Smoking environment in guest areas; non-smoking in employee areas.
• High noise levels.

Additional Details:

Starting salary: $18.00 per hour.
