Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Full time Line Cook / Head Cook to join our not-for-profit retirement community. The role involves preparing and serving meals to residents and guests under strict sanitary standards, following recipes, and coordinating with the dining team.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 to 5 year’s cooking experience in LTC or similar setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Reads menu to estimate food requirements and procures food from storage.
• Prepares and cooks food in accordance with company standards.
• Measures and mixes ingredients, uses kitchen equipment to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, casseroles and other menu items.
• Bakes, roasts, steams, broils, fries meats, fish, poultry and vegetables.
• Follows prep sheet to prepare items for next day’s meals.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
