Job summary

Bayview is seeking a Line Cook to prepare nutritious, high quality meals for residents, guests and staff in a healthcare facility. You will follow specified menus, recipes and safety guidelines while ensuring meals are served with appealing presentation and at the right temperature.

This full-time, non-exempt role operates on a 10:30am–7pm schedule that rotates and includes weekends; prior experience in healthcare food service and therapeutic diets is preferred. On-site dining available.

Qualifications

• One or more years in food service in a health care facility.
• Experience with therapeutic diets.
• Knowledge of sanitary practices and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to read and write English with accuracy.
• Holds current State of Washington Food Handler’s permit.

Responsibilities

• Produce nutritious, high quality food per menus, recipes, techniques, laws and safety guidelines.
• Ensure meals are served with appealing appearance, proper temperature and aroma, in a timely manner.
