Job summary

The Village at Gleannloch Farms in Spring, TX is seeking a hospitality-focused Cook to join our team. This full-time role involves hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness at all times.

The position requires a high school diploma; culinary degree is preferred; and at least one year of restaurant/senior living cooking experience. Shift is 11:00am-7:00PM, Sunday - Thursday, with a pay rate of $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to Community standards at all times.
• Ensure food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Prepare and serve menu cycles meeting nutritional/dietary guidelines.
• Cook with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking prep and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and adjust procedures.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support marketing.
• Support decisions that drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
