Job summary

Oak View Group in Salt Lake City is seeking a Line Cook for the Ken Garff University Club at Rice Eccles Stadium. You will prepare menu items, follow high quality standards, and manage portion control, waste, and sanitation in a fast-paced concession environment.

This part-time position pays $16.00–$19.00 per hour and requires previous line cook experience, the ability to lift heavy objects, and teamwork. Eligible for 401(k) with matching; open through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience preferred.
• Strong communication in a businesslike, respectful manner.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Cook and package food products that are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
• Receive verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
• Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items; food must be fresh and high quality.
• Ensure portion control and serving temperatures of all products in the concession stand.
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean, food stored properly, utensils clean, floors swept and mopped at shift end.
• Check out with the floor supervisor before ending the shift to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance.
