Job summary

Oak View Group’s McCaw Hall in Seattle seeks a Line Cook to prepare foods for guests across the venue, including buffet lines and on-demand dishes. The role requires attendance reliability and availability for events; hourly pay is $26.00.

Qualifying candidates have prior cook or prep cook experience, can operate standard kitchen equipment, communicate well, and work as part of a fast-paced team. Valid food handling certification is preferred where required; ServSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior cook or prep cook experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow company recipes and maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods according to recipes and portions.
• Work as a team to support preparation, service, and delivery of products.
• Report any kitchen equipment maintenance needs.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor cooking, portioning, and garnishing for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive/Cuisine leadership to plan menus and forecast consumption.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance for events and shifts.
