Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to follow recipe directions and food preparation guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation specifications
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and food items
• Prepare ingredients by following prep lists, portioning, and marinating items
• Cook menu items according to established recipes and timing guidelines
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistent presentation
• Properly store all food items at correct temperatures and following food safety procedures
• Clean and maintain work stations, cooking equipment, and kitchen areas
• Support other kitchen staff by assisting with other food preparation when necessary
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen and service staff
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage items
• Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions
• Participate in kitchen inventory and ordering processes as directed
