Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar is seeking an experienced line cook to accurately prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, and other hot items, and to plate and garnish dishes to specification.

The role requires 2+ years in kitchen prep and cooking, plus at least 6 months in a similar capacity. You must communicate clearly with managers and staff and be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensures 100% quality and adheres to standard portion sizes and recipes.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work station and proper rotation of products.
• Assists in food prep during peak times and closes the kitchen per checklist.
• Follows plate presentation and garnish standards.
