Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining room staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items for cooking on broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.
• Assumes responsibility for the quality of products served.
• Maintains standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient food at line stations for smooth service.
• Properly labels and rotates products; follows plate presentation and garnish setup.
• Keeps work stations clean and sanitary and assists in closing the kitchen.
