Hireology is seeking a professional line cook to accurately and efficiently prepare meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot items. You will portion and plate dishes, garnish plates, and support kitchen operations during service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of kitchen prep and cooking experience, can communicate clearly with managers and staff, and is capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods. This role offers steady hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
• Ensure 100% quality of products served according to standards.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Portion and prepare food according to standard sizes and recipe specs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and proper plate presentation.
• Assist in closing the kitchen and attend scheduled meetings.
