Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, food truck, or commercial kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion-control standards.
• Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, teamwork, and professional conduct.
• Food handlers permit or food safety certification required where applicable, or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and prep equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete orders quickly and accurately during busy service periods.
• Check temperatures, freshness, and holding times to maintain quality and safety.
• Follow sanitation, allergy awareness, and local health department requirements.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
• Receive, rotate, store, and restock food and supplies.
• Assist with loading, opening, closing, and event setup procedures.
• Communicate professionally with team members and provide friendly customer service.
• Report inventory shortages, equipment problems, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
