Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, food truck, catering or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions and portion-control standards.
• Ability to work quickly, stay organized and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, teamwork and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete orders quickly and accurately during busy service periods.
• Check food temperatures, freshness, and holding times to maintain quality and safety.
• Follow food-handling, sanitation, allergy awareness, and local health department requirements.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment and storage areas.
• Receive, rotate, store, and restock food and supplies.
• Assist with loading, opening, closing, and event setup procedures.
• Communicate professionally with team members and provide friendly customer service.
• Report inventory shortages, equipment problems, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
