Job summary

Village Inn is seeking a kitchen station cook to produce and maintain high-quality menu items according to company recipes and specifications. You will ensure safety, sanitation, and food standards are met, while collaborating with teammates to keep service on track.

Responsibilities include portioning, stocking, and providing prep support as needed, with emphasis on cleanliness, organization, and timely, efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and fluctuating workload.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain quality of menu items for your station according to recipes and specs.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and food standards are met.
• Prepare, portion and assemble items using scales and utensils.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment in like-new condition; practice clean-as-you-go.
• Stock supplies ahead of rushes and assist with prep as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team to ensure timely service and safety standards.
