Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a capable line cook to join our fast-paced production environment. You will prepare and cook menu items to our recipes and quality standards, while maintaining a clean workstation and adhering to safety guidelines.

You will stock stations, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with the BOH team to keep operations running smoothly. The role requires 1–2 years in a kitchen or food facility, a Food Handler certification if required, and the ability to multitask, lift up

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food production facility
• Food Handler certification where required
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas
• Cross-train across various roles to support growth in responsibilities and team success
• Support with any additional duties assigned
