Job summary

The Audrey Restaurant & Bar in Woodlands, TX is seeking a Line/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will set up stations, prep ingredients, and cook menu items to our high standards, while maintaining organization and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include stocking stations, preparing ingredients, coordinating with chefs, and ensuring food comes out with quality and on time. Previous kitchen experience and a food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Handle high volume shifts efficiently and effectively.
• Familiar with industry’s best practices.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking; able to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
