Job summary

BB's Tex-Orleans in Houston, TX is hiring for a Line Cook/Prep Cook to plate dishes and complete basic food prep tasks. You will prepare and cook food on time, follow recipes, and keep the kitchen clean and stocked in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting up prep areas, chopping vegetables, cutting meat, making sauces, and complying with health and safety standards while stocking inventory and cooking with support from staff.

A Line Cook, or Prep Cook,plates dishes and completes basic food prepping tasks for BB’s. The Cooks main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cooking food on time, and following our recipes. Cooks will keep the kitchen clean and well stocked. Cooks must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be on time with everything they do!
