Job summary

The Legends Bay Casino is seeking a Line Cook to support the Grill Chef in preparing menu items, finishing, and garnishing while ensuring quality and attractive presentation. You will follow recipes and adhere to kitchen standards.

Candidates should practice proper food handling, maintain a clean workstation, and comply with Health Department sanitation requirements. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items as directed by the recipes provided by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of food products meet company standards.
• Prepare, finish and garnish all menu items.
• Practice proper food and knife handling.
• Apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
• Maintain a clean workstation during service time.
• Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
• Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have related kitchen tools.
