Job summary

The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, managed by Millennium Hotels and Resorts, is hiring a full-time Line Cook to join our team. You will prep meals per recipes, maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, and ensure proper plate presentation and garnishes.

A minimum of one year in a fast-paced kitchen is required, along with a valid food handlers' card. Responsibilities include following recipes, managing portions, preventing food waste, and assisting with station setup.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must have a valid food handlers' card.
• Ability to lift 20–40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes and standards.
• Prep meal portions, clean food, and keep a sanitized work area.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Track and report food waste.
• Maintain station setup and proper rotation of products.
• Prepare dishes for guests with allergies or intolerances.
