Job summary

High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prep mise en place, cook meat, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot foods, as well as salads and desserts. You will portion and plate items, garnish plates, and ensure quality and consistency across all dishes.

Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, stocking ingredients, and assisting with closing duties. A minimum of 2 years in kitchen prep/cooking and clear English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen prep and cooking experience.
• At least 6 months in a similar role.
• Clear communication with manager, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served and portion control.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and proper storage of products.
• Stock and rotate inventory at line stations and assist in closing the kitchen.
