Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Short Order Cook.
• Active Food Handler certification or ServeSafe certification is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a hot environment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Chop vegetables, marinate meats, and prepare sauces before peak service hours.
• Line Cooking: Cook menu items according to exact recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Kitchen Safety: Maintain proper food storage temperatures, label ingredients, and rotate stock using FIFO.
• Sanitation: Keep the cooking line, grill, fryers, and prep tables clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Equipment Care: Properly operate, clean, and report maintenance issues for kitchen machinery and tools.
