Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a dependable Line Cook on a per diem basis to cover 2 to 3 shifts per week, including weekends. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals in a restaurant-style dining program, in a professional kitchen, focusing on consistency, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have knife skills, familiarity with recipes, food safety knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during service while delivering warm hospitality to residents

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Proven culinary skills including knife handling, measurements and cooking methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards.
• Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation.
• Properly manage cook times while preparing and efficiently handling several orders.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Make hospitality and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
