Job summary

Qbs Bar and Grill in Dumont, NJ is seeking a Line Cook to join our busy restaurant. You will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers.

The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. Duties include creating menus according to season, setting up the kitchen, preparing food with appealing presentation, supervising team members, managing inventory, following food safety regulations,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
