Job summary

Eataly in West Palm Beach is looking for a Line Cook to transform high-quality ingredients into authentic Italian dishes in our lively, open-kitchen environment. You will report to the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine and work onsite with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in food prep, good knife skills, and a culinary arts degree is preferred. You’ll follow recipes, maintain quality, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen team delivering

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a food preparation position.
• Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools.
• Degree from a culinary arts training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portions, cuts, slices, dips, batters, breads, whips, beats, maintains holding temperature, fries and sautés.
• Selects cuts of meat, poultry, shellfish, fish, game or vegetables for frying or sautéing.
• Plates menu items with appropriate garnish.
• Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, DOH regs.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
